    Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) presents their annual event, Destination Showcase, which attracts approximately 1600 qualified meeting planners and more than 200 Convention and Visitors Bureaus from around the nation and other countries. Destinations Showcase is comprised of sessions, a keynote, and afternoon exhibits. The DMAI Foundation Dinner & Dream Auction is held in conjunction with the Showcase.   • Dede Walsh Serves as Guest Speaker for VAMPI

    On January 6, 2011, one of Projection’s National Account Managers out of the Washington, DC area, Dede Walsh, CTS, was the guest speaker for the Virginia Chapter of MPI (VAMPI) which was held at the Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, Virginia.   • IAEE Honors Mark Bakke

    National Sales Manager Mark Bakke, CTS, was honored at the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) convention last December to recognize his 25 years of membership. The association presented Mark with a mantle clock during his induction into the IAEE Platinum Circle at the Annual Business Luncheon & Awards Presentation. Eleven other IAEE members also were recognized at the event.

    Projection successfully serviced the 10th year of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Annual Fall Meeting in San Francisco, California on December 13 – 17, 2010. A large number of Mac users attend AGU’s Fall Meeting which prompted the association to add Mac computers to their oral session rooms in 2007.     Projection has qualified as an InfoComm International Emerald AudioVisual Solutions Provider (AVSP). This designation recognizes that a percentage of the company’s sales, customer service and technical staff have achieved and maintained individual InfoComm Certification and have completed relevant coursework from the InfoComm Academy. InfoComm awards individual Certification to audiovisual professionals who have demonstrated knowledge and comprehension of the science and technology used in communications including audio, video, display and systems.
